Kairos Foundation is a Ugandan NGO that empowers rural communities through dynamic but simple programs that directly involve and benefit community members. We are currently operating in Mbale district and other districts in Eastern Uganda. We seek to break the cycle of poverty and empower communities to take charge of their own development. One of our projects is Awake Nature Farm which is situated in Eastern Uganda.
We have worked continuously with the communities through various projects that include Education, Livelihood, Agriculture, Preventive health care support and cultural exchange. Through these initiatives we have had strong support from the local communities. Our programs are run by experienced staff and we’re well placed to partner with funding bodies and other service providers.
To enhance knowledge and skills within rural communities and to promote the exchange of information and best practices through agriculture, entrepreneurship, education, mentorship, advocacy and strategic partnerships for social, cultural and economic development.
